Two-Day Chakra Balancing Immersion

  • Light Space Yoga 526 Whitehorse Road Mitcham, VIC, 3132 Australia (map)

Friday 24th March (Part-One)
Saturday 25th March (Part-Two)

In our special two-part chakra balancing immersion, you can book a spot in both sessions, or just one.

Part 1) An Experiential Guided Chakra Meditation

Join Dina in a two-part exploration of the chakras to find balance in your energetic and physical bodies through working with the seven chakra centres. Dina has been a teacher of movement for over a decade, and is also a certified Reiki practitioner.

The first evening on March 24th will start with a short meditation and breath work, followed by an extended chakra balancing. The chakra balancing portion will consist of restorative yoga postures, sound therapy, aromatherapy, and visualized regression work for each chakra. You will leave with a greater understanding of the psycho-somatic connection in your body, as well as knowledge of how to restore and achieve balance on your own.

Part 2) Chakra Balancing Soundscape

The second evening on March 25th will be a unique experiment of movement and sound, guided through the yogic teachings of Dina and set to the live electro-acoustic sound world created by Melbourne-based musician, Nat Grant.

Expect to go on an ethereal journey as we move through postures that bring deeper connections to the seven chakra centers, where we will explore the power of directing sound into various areas of the body through guided breathwork and sound meditation techniques in a Vinyasa yoga style.

A portion of the class will be dedicated to directing sound into various areas of the body through guided breathwork, chanting, and sound meditation techniques specifically designed to stimulate the energy in the chakra points. There will be a short discussion at the end of the practice to integrate both experiences and address questions.

About Nat: Nat Grant is a Melbourne-based renown percussionist, composer & sound designer. Her work explores intersections between improvisation, chance & intention in the development of sound as a sculptural medium. Her live performances integrate electronic processing & sampling with acoustic percussion instruments & found objects.
