The Integrated Series: Balance

This is the first in a series of workshops designed to nurture and inspire you wherever you may be on your yogic path, co-facilitated by Christy Champoise and Dina Smirnova.

Throughout this workshop, we will focus on the three pillars of a balanced yoga practice: pranayama, meditation, and asana. You will be guided through a dynamic vinyasa yoga sequence which will include pranayama breath techniques, meditation, and personal hands-on adjustments. We will also incorporate the teaching of the yoga sutras, mantra, and mudra.

Intimacy is important to us and vital to facilitate our students’ progress. We will offer a limited capacity to ensure all students are given personal attention and adjustments in a nourishing, supportive, and uplifting space.

Mats will be provided (or BYO if preferred). Chai will be served after class.

Based in Melbourne, tarō is the brainchild of yoga and movement practitioners Christy Champoise and Dina M. Smirnova.

We are passionate about taking an approach to yoga that enables the deepening of one's connection to themselves in a supportive and inspired environment. By integrating equal parts pranayama, meditation, asana, and yogic philosophy into a balanced practice, we seek to provide in-depth education in the form of workshops and retreats worldwide.
