ABOUT THE EVENING

Join us for a three-hour workshop invoking the Hindu goddess, Lakshmi, co-facilitated by Dina Smirnova and Jacinta Percy. This is the continuation of a series of monthly gatherings intended to explore sacred sound and yoga by examining various mystical themes with a strong focus on maintaining integrity of the teachings and spiritual practices.

Lakshmi's energetic is especially powerful for inviting abundance, wealth, prosperity, and restoring the balance of giving and receiving in its tangible and intangible forms. Some examples of where this energy may be present or needed include: manifesting money or a desirable and loving partner; cultivating good health and harmony in relationships (with self and others); developing gratitude and generosity; gracefully attracting a beautiful home or job.

This gathering is an opportunity to build upon the grounding, masculine energetic of Ganesha and introduce the feminine, creative energy of Lakshmi. This is an intimate and potent container; thus there is a limited capacity of 20 people.

ABOUT JACINTA - aka The Sound Weaver

Songstress. Voice weaver. Sound Weaver. Explorer. Hunter. Nurturer. Lover. Seeker of Truth.

Jacinta’s love affair with the voice, sound and music began as a wee babe, with Richard Clayderman being the only medicine that would lull her to sleep. It was an inevitable journey with a piano playing songstress for a grandmother and a great great aunt, dubbed “Queen of the Irish Song”, in her family lineage.

Her deep love and passion for voice, sound and music has led her over the past 14 years to work with profound teachers in Australia, UK and India, criss crossing genres from Classical to Jazz, Folk to Improvisation, Dhrupad to Carnatic.

Her deep knowledge of her own voice, her open heart and listening ear, allows her to facilitate with a gentle grace that allows others to uncover what they are seeking.

Her belief that we all need to sing, sing with courage, sing with joy, sing to mama earth, uncover our greatness and shine forth our potential into the world is what inspires her to share her love and passion too all.
